Meghalaya State Organic Certification Body (MSOCB) intends to provide organic certification services as per the Indian Organic Standards like NPOP and other similar international organic and  sustainable environmental certification standards to its registered farms, group of organic farmers (ICS), commercial organic traders/exporters, small, medium, and large-scale organic food processers, wild collection units etc.

Meghalaya State Organic Certification Body (MSOCB) has been created on 21st December 2023 vide notification No.PLA.6/2014/255 dated 21.12.2023.  It has full autonomy for its organic certification activities as per NPOP guidelines.

The MSOCB is under the process for obtaining the accreditation as a Certification Body as per NPOP under APEDA, Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Government of India.
